Senior SOC Analyst – Hybrid (London) | Crypto & Fintech

Location: London (Hybrid – Office & WFH)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £80,000 – £100,000

About the Role

A leading cryptocurrency & fintech firm is looking for a Senior SOC Analyst to strengthen their cyber security team. This role is hands-on and requires expertise in threat detection, response, and SIEM platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM platforms.
  • Manage and respond to security incidents, mitigating potential threats.
  • Identify and analyze vulnerabilities, proactively improving security posture.
  • Work closely with engineering and compliance teams to maintain security best practices.
  • Develop and refine SOC processes, enhancing efficiency and threat response capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Sentinel, etc.).
  • Proven experience in managing and responding to security threats.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO27001, etc.).
  • Previous experience in crypto or financial services is ideal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-risk environment.
