Senior Platform Engineer – Fintech

About the Role

A leading fintech firm is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to help design, implement, and optimize a cloud-native infrastructure for a high-transaction exchange. This is a key role in building a scalable, resilient platform that supports billions of transactions monthly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement resilient cloud infrastructure to support high-performance applications.
  • Automate deployment and scaling of containerized applications in a cloud environment.
  • Migrate and consolidate cloud infrastructures into Google Cloud (GCP).
  • Establish best practices for infrastructure management, security, and performance optimization.
  • Lead incident response and root cause analysis, ensuring system reliability and uptime.

Key Requirements

  • Cloud Platform Expertise – Strong experience managing production workloads in AWS or GCP, with a focus on cloud resource optimization.
  • Container Orchestration – Extensive experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters in EKS or GKE environments.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Proficiency in Terraform for automating infrastructure provisioning, ensuring maintainability and scalability.
  • Linux Systems – Advanced troubleshooting skills, with experience in performance tuning, monitoring, and security hardening in Linux environments.
