About the Senior Azure Cloud Architect Vacancy:

If you are an expert in the design, implementation and optimization of cloud applications, especially with a focus on Microsoft Stack, then we have the perfect challenge for you!

Your tasks:

  • Conception, implementation and optimization of the cloud application portfolio with a focus on Microsoft Stack in a data-oriented product environment.
  • Implementation of cloud solutions and ensuring use cases in Azure.
  • Developing best practices, standards and roadmaps for the cloud environment, taking scalability, performance, security and cost into account.
  • Advising customers on cloud-based solutions, conducting workshops and supporting pre-sales activities.
  • Further development of the company-wide cloud strategy and close collaboration with technology experts to optimally align the cloud infrastructure with the respective company goals.
  • Applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform to optimize cloud infrastructure.
  • Application of DevOps and CI/CD concepts to continuously improve development processes.
  • Quality assurance through code analyzes and evaluations.

Ideal Requirements for the Senior Azure Cloud Architect Vacancy:

  • Your background: Several years of professional experience as a cloud architect or comparable role, ideally with experience in providing data products.
  • Your technical skills: You have knowledge of cloud platforms, especially data platforms on Azure, and understand the basics of cloud services, networking and security.
  • You are experienced in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, are familiar with DevOps and CI/CD concepts and have gained experience in the area of modern data warehouses, lakehouse architectures and big data including migration strategies.
  • As a plus: knowledge of Databricks/Spark, modeling methods such as Snowflake or Data Vault.
  • How you work: You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team with experienced colleagues from business and technology. You also enjoy communicating directly with customers.
  • Your passion: You make data-driven decisions to have a meaningful impact on the business. You pay attention to code quality, simplicity and performance.
  • Your language skills: You are fluent in spoken and written English (C1) and German (C1).
