OFS is excited to partner with a proprietary trading firm specialising in financial derivatives, particularly options. Founded by an experienced trader, it uses sophisticated quantitative strategies and advanced algorithms to exploit market inefficiencies. Operating with its own capital, the firm focuses on high-frequency trading and robust risk management, emphasising innovation and adaptability. Its team of skilled traders, quantitative analysts, and technology experts work together to refine and execute profitable trading strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for trading operations within an advanced tech environment.
• Deploy and manage internally developed trading applications.
• Work with IT teams (Development, Network, DevOps) to establish and execute long-term plans for platform stability.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose application issues, apply immediate fixes, and follow up with structural improvements.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities as they arise.
• Collaborate with various teams to connect to new markets/exchanges and deploy new applications and trading functionalities.

Experience:

• 2+ years experience in a similar role
• Familiar with Linux.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Experience working with Scripting Language (Bash or Python).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have:

Experience with automation and previous exposure to a trading environment.
