Principal Back End Engineer (Remote) – Leading Dating App Company

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead back end development, with a focus on Node.js.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust services and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical projects from concept to completion.
  • Play a key role in defining the technical direction of the platform.
  • Ensure the performance and scalability of the platform as we expand globally.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with Node.js and back end development.
  • Proven experience in a scale-up environment with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving settings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about architecture and product.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for driving innovative solutions.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of other back end languages or frameworks.
  • Experience working in the dating or social networking sector.
