Principal AI Engineer

A leading global medical technology company is expanding its AI team to enhance its innovative diagnostic solutions. We are seeking a Principal AI Engineer to join our forward-thinking organization.

In this role, you’ll spearhead the design and development of advanced Machine Learning algorithms for medical image processing.

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive the integration of AI technologies into existing products, while mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of innovation. The company promotes a dynamic work environment where you can lead impactful projects and shape the future of medical imaging solutions.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Design machine learning algorithms for medical image processing, focusing on whole slide imaging.
  • Assess and incorporate third-party AI technologies into company products, collaborating with leadership on a cohesive AI product strategy.
  • Influence and enhance the AI development infrastructure.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proficient with Python.
  • 5+ years in machine learning/AI and software development.
  • Master’s degree or higher in machine learning, AI, software engineering, or a related field.
