Global Head of Responsibility Client Solutions

Permanent Opportunity – Asset Management – Competitive Salary + Benefits (£150,000 – £180,000) + Bonus

Orbis is partnering with a reputable Asset Manager to bring on board a Global Head of Responsibility Client Solutions. This role will help clients define and achieve superior financial outcomes through differentiated insights, disciplined investments, and world-class service.

Role Objective:

To lead efforts in delighting clients with an innovative approach to Responsible Investing, including engaging in client conversations, representing the firm at industry events, and crafting a suite of ESG-integrated and Brighter Future Funds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Methodologies and Frameworks: Design and implement frameworks/products to support the creation of Brighter Future Funds.
  • Integrate ESG Principles: Embed methodologies within investment teams to enable use by Portfolio Managers and Investment Analysts.
  • Ensure ESG Compliance: Lead the development of strategic and tactical approaches to meet existing and emerging ESG regulations, ensuring these approaches are credible, commercial, practical, and scalable.
  • Protect Against Greenwashing: Safeguard portfolio credibility and compliance by adhering to regulatory standards and serving as a member of the ESG Oversight Committee.
  • Leadership Contribution: Join the Responsibility leadership team and provide support to the Chief Responsibility Officer as needed.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse organisations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with experience in business development and client management.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
  • Execution-driven, with a demonstrated ability to bring ideas from design to implementation.
  • Deep knowledge of ESG market and regulatory developments.
  • Familiarity with ESG and climate data frameworks (e.g., ESG metrics, climate change scenario analysis).
  • Managerial experience in relevant roles.
  • CFA qualification and/or significant asset management experience preferred.
