About the Company

A leading wealth management firm with $60 billion AUM is looking for a Gen AI Lead / Senior Engineer to drive AI innovation and build cutting-edge business solutions powered by Machine Learning (ML) and Agentic AI Frameworks.

This is a first-of-its-kind hire for the firm’s AI strategy, with an exciting roadmap to prove initial use cases and scale the team to 8-10 members by 2028.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & implement an AI-driven Manager Insights Toolkit to extract and summarize insights from documents.
  • Build an internal chatbot for investment teams to query specific manager data efficiently.
  • Evaluate & prioritize additional AI use cases based on business needs.
  • Assess & implement AI frameworks/tools, working with vendor solutions while bringing expertise in-house.
  • Lead AI strategy execution, working closely with investment and client teams.
  • Play a key role in scaling & hiring for the AI team over the next few years.

Key Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in AI/ML, with recent focus on Generative AI (GenAI) & LLMs.
  • Proven track record of building & deploying AI solutions from concept to production.
  • Strong background in NLP & unstructured data processing.
  • Industry preference: Asset Management or Wealth Management.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (3 days in-office, 2 remote).
