Senior Backend Developer

Location: Stockholm, 2/3 days per week in office

Language Requirements: Swedish AND English

Company Overview:

This organization builds smart technology air and water pumps, striving to digitalise the whole process from consultation to installation. Their aim is to help their customers reduce their energy costs and lower their carbon footprint.

Responsibilities

• Write backend services
• Design database models
• Integrate with third-party systems
• Simplify processes and create user-friendly interfaces that enhance the buying experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• 3+ years’ experience in Backend Development, working with object oriented and functional programming languages such as Crystal, Golang, Python, Ruby, Elixir, Haskell, Clojure, etc
• Professional experience with Crystal would be a big bonus!
• Describe yourself as language agnostic/interested in working with new technologies
• Highly motivated business mindset, with a keen aspiration for rapid development
