Founding-level Mobile Engineer Opportunity at an NYC-based Sports Betting Startup

Orbis is partnered with a well-funded and quickly growing sports-betting startup based in NYC.

Their commission-free P2P marketplace is at the intersection of sports-betting and trading software creating unparalleled fairness for users.

As the sole front-end developer you will have considerable ownership of the development of their mobile platform.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in mobile development
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science
  • Previous roles in VC-backed startups
  • Plus: Interest in sports and/or financial markets.

You will own the client side of our web and mobile applications:

  • Build user apps using React and React Native
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve compatibility issues
  • Strike a balance between functional and aesthetic design
  • Take ownership of critical UIs that are crucial to improving the user experience
  • Collaborate closely with Founders, backend engineers, and UX Designer.
