Freelance Fullstack Java/React Developer – Remote in EU

A prestigious global payments company in Luxembourg is looking for a skilled Fullstack Java/React Developer to join them on a freelance basis. This remote role offers flexibility, competitive pay, and professional growth opportunities in a dynamic fintech environment.

Key Details

  • Pay: €40-50/hour (negotiable)
  • Contract: Initial 6 months with high extension potential
  • Remote: Work from any EU location

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend systems with JavaSQL, and REST API.
  • Build dynamic frontends with ReactJavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Leverage AWS for cloud development.
  • Work within a microservices architecture using Docker.

Essential Skills

  • Java backend expertise, including design patterns.
  • Strong frontend skills (React, JavaScript, TypeScript).
  • AWS cloud experience.
  • Familiarity with Docker and microservices.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of Kotlin.
  • Experience in payments or fintech.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices (OWASP).
