Your Role

As a Principal Backend Engineer, you’ll design, develop, and optimise backend systems for a large-scale mobile app, ensuring seamless scalability for millions of users. You will collaborate across multiple engineering tribes and act as an advisor/SME for all things backend.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable backend systems for mobile applications using Node.js
• Advise engineers on best practices and architectural decisions
• Ensure app performance and scalability as the user base grows
• Mentor senior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth
