Assistant Commercial Manager | £35,000 – £45,000 + Benefits | 3/4 days a week on-site

Their product offerings include high-speed networking, cloud, data, IoT, and edge computing services that power performance and efficiency. They collaborate with leading businesses across construction, manufacturing, and retail sectors.

About the Role:

As the Assistant Commercial Manager, you will:

  • Manage commercial relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
  • Support the Commercial Director in ensuring product and service profitability.
  • Participate in contract reviews, pricing strategies, and customer-facing tasks such as preparing proposals and tenders.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and addressed.
  • Assist with procurement processes and work closely with the finance team to manage debtors, creditors, and overall commercial performance.
  • Contribute to the commercialisation of new products and services by providing insights and expertise.

Ideal Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Commercial role, preferably within telecommunications or construction.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen, with a proven track record of managing commercial relationships and contracts.
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field preferred, but extensive experience will be considered.
  • A solid understanding of performance reporting, budgeting, and financial processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with contract law and managing procurement processes from start to finish
