Enterprise Architect – North Rhine-Westphalia

€110,000 | 1 to 2 Days per Week in Office | English Speaking

Are you a visionary Enterprise Architect ready to drive business innovation and shape the future of a global organisation? We are thrilled to offer an exceptional opportunity to join a team of 20 domain and regional architects.

About the Role

As an Enterprise Architect, you will be at the forefront of developing and managing the organisation’s architecture strategy, aligning it with both IT and business objectives. This role requires leading collaboration across the architecture community, ensuring the creation and implementation of guidelines, processes, principles, frameworks, and strategies that deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the overall IT architecture strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Establish and implement guidelines, frameworks, processes, and principles for key architectural topics.
  • Lead effective collaboration within the architecture community.
  • Review and approve regional and domain-level target landscapes and roadmaps.
  • Create enterprise architecture blueprints and supporting roadmaps.
  • Manage enterprise architecture initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and policies.
  • Consult and collaborate with key stakeholders, including Unit Heads, Regional CIOs, and the Architecture Community.

Ideal Candidate

If you have a graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, along with a passion for architectural excellence, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in solution or enterprise architecture or a related discipline.
  • Expertise in architecture modelling, governance processes, and application lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency with enterprise architecture tools and frameworks (e.g., LeanIX, ArchiMate, DMBOK).
  • Certification in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate).
  • Analytical mindset with a result-oriented and innovative approach.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and coaching skills, with intercultural competence.
  • Fluent in English (C1 level).
