Founding-Level React Native Engineer Opportunity

Location: Chicago, IL (Open to On-site)

Orbis is partnered with a well-funded early-stage startup tackling mental health and social isolation. Their founders have multiple successful exits and are building something special. You’ll join a small team where you will have considerable ownership of the development of their mobile platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own major parts of the client-side of our web and mobile applications.
  • Build user-facing apps using React and React Native.
  • Strike a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
  • Take ownership of critical UIs that are crucial to improving the user experience.
  • Drive new feature development and implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with founders and two other developers.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience shipping code to production.
  • Hands-on experience with React Native.
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent field.
  • Previous experience in VC-backed startups.
  • Open to working onsite in Chicago.
