Staff Software Engineer – Distributed Systems | Remote | United States

Salary: $180,000 – $250,000

Location: United States (Remote only)

Our client, a leading company in the integration technology sector, is actively looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join their Integration Infrastructure team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to work on cutting-edge technologies and play a pivotal role in ensuring the infrastructure runs with 99.999% accuracy and near real-time data synchronization.

About the Role

In this hands-on position, you will:

  • Design and implement distributed systems that operate at scale
  • Write high-quality code and conduct code reviews
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence architectural decisions and the product roadmap
  • Mentor junior engineers to promote best practices and growth within the team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical initiatives and contribute to the development of robust and scalable integration infrastructure
  • Collaborate closely with teams across engineering, product management, and other departments to drive technical solutions
  • Shape the architectural framework to meet both present and future business requirements

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience with distributed systems and integration technologies
  • Proficiency in backend technologies with a solid coding foundation
  • Strong understanding of system design and cloud infrastructure
  • Proven ability to design and develop high-performance, reliable systems with real-time data synchronization
  • Leadership capabilities to guide technical decision-making and mentor engineers
