Staff Data Platform Engineer – up to ~£310,000 base + substantial equity

I’m working with a high-growth, product-led software company that’s built a category-defining platform used by modern GTM teams to find, research, and engage the right customers. The company has crossed $100M in revenue, raised a large growth round, and is now scaling the core systems that underpin the product as usage and customer complexity increase.

At the heart of this is the data platform.

The team owns all people and jobs data, which directly powers search, enrichments, and signals across the platform. As the company scales, they’re investing heavily in the systems that keep this data fresh, reliable, and accurate, including live web scraping and continuous refresh pipelines.

They’re now hiring a Staff Data Platform Engineer to help build and scale this core foundation.

What you’ll be working on

• Designing and building software-oriented data systems (not classic BI / analytics)
• Owning the platforms that ingest, refresh, and serve people and jobs data
• Working on live web scraping, data freshness, and reliability at scale
• Building internal data services that power product features like search and enrichment
• Shaping architecture and technical direction as the platform grows

What they’re looking for

• Experience working on data platforms where data is central to the product
• Strong software engineering background with a data focus
• Comfortable operating at Staff level with real ownership and technical judgment
• Experience with distributed systems and production data workloads
• Product-minded — you care how data is used, not just how it’s stored

• Up to ~$310,000 base
• Very strong equity with real liquidity history
