Job Title: AI Solutions Architect

Location: Rotterdam (Hybrid)

Contract Type: 6-month initial freelance contract + extensions

Hourly Rate: 100-110 EUR/hr

Our client, a Dutch energy network operator, is seeking a freelance AI Architect/Product Manager to help unify and mature its GenAI and data architecture landscape. This role sits adjacent to the architecture team and focuses on integrating Databricks, Azure, GenAI agents, and AI governance into a cohesive, compliant framework.

We’re looking for someone with a strong statistical or mathematical background—ideally from the data science corner—who understands the difference between GenAI, prompting, and Python-based development. You’ll help steer use case decisions (e.g., time series forecasting vs GenAI), guide architecture, and ensure alignment with compliance standards.

Key skills:

• Fluent Dutch (all documentation is in Dutch)
• Proven experience with Azure, Databricks, GenAI, and AI governance
• Background in data science, statistics, or mathematical modelling
• Experience in regulated industries preferred
