I’m working with a well-funded fintech building a modern platform for financial advisors.

Wealth management is still heavily reliant on manual workflows and outdated tooling – this team is replacing that with a more scalable, product-led platform that helps advisors spend more time with clients and less time on admin.

They’ve raised $100M+ and are at a strong growth stage, with clear product-market fit and continued expansion ahead

The role

You’ll be working across the full product lifecycle – building and shipping features used directly by advisors and clients, and collaborating closely with product and design.

This team is hiring across both mid-level and senior engineers, so the scope and ownership will scale depending on experience.

Tech stack

• Backend: Ruby on Rails (not required – open to other backend languages)
• Frontend: React / Next.js
• Data: SQL
• APIs: GraphQL
• Infrastructure: modern cloud + CI/CD environment

What they’re looking for

• Experience building and shipping web applications in production
• Comfortable working full stack
• Strong fundamentals across APIs, data, and system design
• Ability to work in a collaborative, product-focused environment

For more senior candidates

• Experience designing scalable systems
• Ability to mentor and contribute to technical direction

Nice to have

• Any exposure to fintech or financial data (not essential)

Compensation: Up to $260k base + significant equity

Location: NYC (hybrid)
