Senior C# Engineer | Hedge Fund | $1,500 per day | NYC

I’m working with a global hedge fund who are looking for a C# Developer to join their NYC office. This is a hands on engineering role focused on building and enhancing critical internal Workday systems.

Offices based in Manhattan but open to hybrid/remote working.

Long term contract/consulting opportunity paying up to $1,500 per day C2C.

Core technical requirements

  • Strong commercial experience with C# / .NET (5+ years).
  • Solid SQL Server experience, including data modelling and query optimisation.
  • Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven background delivering enterprise or corporate systems in regulated environments.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to Workday (Financials or HCM), integrations or downstream systems.
  • Experience building or consuming REST APIs.
  • Python experience (including Pandas).
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of authentication and cloud platforms (SAML, OAuth, Azure or AWS).
  • Advanced Excel skills (macros, Power Query).
