About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge systems in the healthcare sector, with an emphasis on building scalable backend systems and user-facing solutions. This role is language agnostic, with a 70/30 split of backend to frontend work, meaning you’ll be primarily focused on backend technologies but will also need some familiarity with frontend development.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Design, implement, and maintain backend systems and services.

• Frontend Development: Utilize your knowledge of React and JavaScript for frontend work, although this will constitute a smaller portion of the role.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, product managers, and data scientists to deliver impactful products.

• System Architecture: Build scalable and robust systems to handle complex healthcare data and workflows.

• Security: Apply your understanding of healthcare-specific regulations like HIPAA to ensure compliance and security in all systems.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Strong background in backend development, with experience using languages such as Python, Go, Java, Node, or Typescript.

• Frontend Knowledge: Familiarity with React or JavaScript for frontend tasks.

• Healthcare Knowledge: Experience working in the healthcare or regulated industries is a plus.

• Security and Compliance: Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data security requirements is highly desirable.

• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot, solve complex technical challenges, and build effective solutions.

• Collaboration: Comfortable working in a hybrid work environment and collaborating with remote and in-office teams.
