Help build the digital platform behind a globally recognised, subscription-driven media brand. We’re partnering with a well-established, mission-driven media organization that reaches millions of readers worldwide through its web and digital products. The company is investing heavily in its core web platform and is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Web) to play a key role in shaping the next phase of its product experience.

What you’ll work on?

This is a web-first, product-focused engineering role with real ownership. You’ll be building and evolving modern React web applications at scale, working across the stack from frontend UI and performance to backend APIs and services. The role involves developing features that support subscriptions, authentication, personalization, and content delivery, while collaborating closely with product, design, and content teams to ship high-impact features. The work balances new feature development with thoughtful iteration on a mature platform used by a large, engaged audience.

What they’re looking for?

They’re looking for strong web engineers rather than narrow specialists. You’ll typically have 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years of web development, strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, and comfort working across frontend and backend systems (Python preferred). Experience building or consuming APIs, working with data models, and collaborating in product-focused teams is important. Experience with subscriptions, payments, or consumer-facing platforms is a plus, but not essential.
