Full Stack Software Engineer (Python / React) – AI-Forward Engineering Team

I’m working with a fast-growing London-based health-tech scale-up building a personalised platform used by 100k+ customers, and they’re looking to hire a backend-leaning Full Stack Engineer to help scale their product.

This is a high-impact role within a product engineering team that owns everything from the customer-facing platform through to internal tools and core backend systems.

The Role

They’re looking for engineers who are already using AI to:

  • Move faster across systems and reduce manual work
  • Operate at a higher level of abstraction
  • Improve how they design, build and iterate on software

This isn’t about basic Copilot usage, they want engineers who have thought about how AI changes the way software is built.

Tech environment

  • Python (backend – core focus)
  • React + TypeScript (frontend)
  • AWS (cloud infrastructure)
  • Microservices / modern web architecture

Engineers work across the stack, with roughly a 60/40 backend split.

What they’re looking for

  • ~5+ years experience building web-based products
  • Strong Python backend development experience
  • Experience with React / TypeScript
  • Good understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
  • Engineers who are comfortable owning problems end-to-end

Plus:

  • You actively use AI in your workflow and have clear opinions on where it adds value vs where it doesn’t
  • You’re focused on impact, not just implementation
