Senior React Engineer – Financial Services

React Developer | London (Hybrid/Flexible) | £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits

A global fintech is hiring a React Developer to join its London engineering team. You’ll work in a small, collaborative front-end group, building out modern React/TypeScript applications and contributing to an ambitious product roadmap.

This isn’t a maintenance role – around 70–75% of the work is greenfield development, delivering new features across high-impact financial platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with backend, design, and product teams, with opportunities to get involved in architecture, best practices, and mentoring as the team grows.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and optimise modern React/TypeScript web applications
• Deliver new features while ensuring code quality, testing, and maintainability
• Contribute to front-end architecture and state management decisions
• Collaborate across teams in a fast-paced, agile environment

What You Need

• Commercial experience with React, TypeScript, and modern state management (Redux or similar)
• Strong foundations in testing, CI/CD, and accessibility
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a lean, high-performing team
• Financial services experience is useful, but not essential
