Job Title: Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Location: Remote (US-based only)

Salary: $200,000 – $220,000 + Bonus + Equity

Our client, a generative AI scale-up, is building large-scale Large Language Models (LLMs) to compete with industry giants like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Microsoft. As the company is entering an exciting growth phase, they are looking for multiple Machine Learning Engineers at all levels to help deploy and manage ML models at scale.

Machine Learning Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, deploy, and manage machine learning algorithms
  • Work closely with Researchers, Product, Platform, and Software teams
  • Handle real-time, multimodal data
  • Contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI models

Machine Learning Engineer Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in a relevant STEM field (CompSci preferred)
  • 4+ years of experience deploying models into production
  • Strong Python experience (experience with Scala, Java, R, or Haskell a plus)
  • Familiarity with Platform/MLOps tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
  • Ability to work as part of a high-performing, small, remote team
  • End-to-end ownership of projects, driving technical decisions and model deployment
