Orbis have been retained by a global cybersecurity business in Eindhoven who require a Senior Java Developer to join them on a freelance basis.

This is an initial 6-month extendable freelance opportunity (with strong likelihood of extension). The ultimate goal is to design and develop new products and features that extend their current product portfolio. You would take ownership of the entire development lifecycle & should have expertise across the following:

  • Java back-end technologies, SQL, REST API, design patterns, microservice architecture.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Cloud experience, Kubernetes and containerization.
  • Knowledge of Kotlin, Python, Bash, Linux.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, React and JavaScript front-end technologies.

Rates are negotiable depending upon experience.

Must be an EU Citizen.

You would be required to be onsite initially in Eindhoven Netherlands for an onboarding week, following this you should be able to commit monthly or bimonthly trips to the office for a few days at a time. The rest of the time you will work fully remotely.
