As a Senior Google Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for shaping the architecture for critical projects and advising clients on the best cloud and machine learning solutions. You will be leading pre-sales and post-sales architecture discussions and collaborating with both business and technical leaders to define complex solutions. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside experts and enthusiasts in the AI and data fields, including engineers and data scientists, to build next-generation ML products and AI workflows.
You’ll be working in a customer-facing role, liaising directly with stakeholders to provide expert-level advice on data migration, analytics, and machine learning projects. You will also lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale solutions.

Project Leadership: Lead enterprise-scale data and AI projects from design through to implementation.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Proven Expertise: Hands-on experience in designing and implementing large-scale cloud architectures.
End-to-End Ownership: Ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion.
Technical Excellence: Strong analytical skills, focused on innovation and technical problem-solving.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to deliver presentations and proposals.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Pre-Sales Experience: Proven track record in technical pre-sales and proposing innovative solutions.
Holistic Cloud Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of cloud technologies across data, security, and networking.
Container Technologies: Experience working with containers in cloud-based projects.
Programming Skills: Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL.
Certifications: Google Cloud or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
ETL & Data Pipeline Expertise: Experience with tools like Spark, Beam, Flink, etc.
Data Architecture: Experience designing data lakes and data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift).
Analytics Tools: Familiarity with tools like Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Scrum and Agile frameworks.
Data Science: Basic knowledge of machine learning, data mining, and data visualisation.
Open-Source Contributions: Contributions to open-source projects.
