Fund Administration Team Leader | 6 Month FTC | Investment Management | London (Hybrid)

Are you an experienced operations professional with deep knowledge of direct equity and private equity fund administration? Our client are hiring a Team Leader – Equity & Fund Administration.

You’ll lead a small team, manage complex workflows, collaborate with legal and investment teams, and help drive process improvements across the portfolio lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Equity & Fund Administration team.
  • Manage team workload and ensure timely, accurate processing of equity and fund transactions.
  • Work closely with legal and investment teams to onboard, monitor, and exit investments.
  • Oversee the operational review of equity and fund documentation.
  • Analyse private equity fund data and update internal systems accordingly.
  • Produce regular reports and insights on the equity portfolio.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on equity administration across the business.
  • Identify areas for improvement and help implement new systems and processes.
  • Provide cover for other operations leads when needed.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience leading a team within fund accounting, portfolio administration, or investment operations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of direct equity and private equity fund structures.
  • Familiarity with portfolio systems, ideally eFront.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to engage with stakeholders across functions.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence presenting data to senior audience
