Location: Malaga, Spain (Onsite) – Either there already or willing to relocate

We’re supporting a tier-one global bank on a major Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) and API platform transformation, building the next generation of payments, cash management, and trade APIs for internal and external consumers.

This is a senior, hands-on Business Analyst role sitting at the intersection of API design, regulation, and AI governance — ideal for someone who has operated in complex, regulated financial environments and understands how APIs become commercial products.

🔧 What you’ll be doing

• Leading business analysis across Payments, Collections, Receivables, Cash Management & Trade APIs
• Translating regulatory and business requirements into API-first designs, user stories, and data models
• Acting as the squad’s business, compliance, and AI governance voice
• Defining API standards, metrics, SLOs, and SLAs with platform teams
• Supporting API monetisation and billing enablement
• Working closely with Product, Architecture, Security, and Platform teams
• Using AI-native tools (e.g. ChatGPT Enterprise, Azure OpenAI, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery and traceability

✅ What we’re looking for

• 8+ years in Financial Services
• Strong API / BaaS transformation experience
• Deep knowledge of ISO 20022, Open Banking, PSD2
• Solid understanding of API security (OAuth 2.1, mTLS, OIDC)
• Experience with Apigee or IBM API Connect
• Exposure to AI governance / LLMOps in regulated environments
• Comfortable working onsite in Malaga
