About the Senior Android Engineer Vacancy:
You will work on Android apps and SDKs that power their payment applications across a variety of devices and form factors, from consumer mobile phones to specialized POS terminals.
In this position, you will:
• Create, develop, and manage SDKs and Android apps that service millions
• Create Android payment apps that work flawlessly on a range of devices and form factors
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and other company stakeholders to introduce new features and products to consumers
• Establish best practices for Android development throughout the organization by working with Android developers who work on the POS Terminal
• Create manageable, tested code that follows architectural principles and best practices
Ideal Requirements for the Senior Android Engineer Vacancy:
You have a love for creating sophisticated, effective mobile applications and a solid technical background in Android programming.
You are aware that creating excellent software involves more than simply writing code; it also involves working with cross-functional teams, resolving user issues, and upholding strict quality and user experience standards.
You flourish in a fast-paced startup setting where success depends on agility and flexibility.
• Several years of experience in Android development using Kotlin
• Strong knowledge of architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture
• Solid experience with the Android SDK, Android Studio, and the full mobile development lifecycle
• Jetpack proficiency – Compose, ViewModel, Room, Navigation, Lifecycle
• Strong UX design skills, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
Nice-to-have:
• Work experience with POS device apps (Ingenico, Verifone, PAX, etc.)
• Knowledge of ISO 8583, NFC, and EMV procedures for safe transactions
• Knowledge of cryptographic security principles such as DUKPT, AES, RSA, and HMAC
