About the Company

Join a fast-growing DevOps and Cloud accelerator that helps enterprises enhance their Agile, Cloud, DevOps, and AI environments. With a strong presence in the Netherlands, trusted by leading organizations such as ING, Elsevier, and KPN, this company is now expanding into the UK.

As a DevOps Institute Partner and Microsoft Gold Partner, they offer a solid foundation for growth and innovation. After consistent year-on-year growth, they are looking for a dynamic Sales Director to lead their UK expansion.

About the Role

As UK Sales Director, you will have a key role in launching and growing the UK business. This is a unique opportunity to act as both a hands-on sales leader and a strategic advisor with autonomy in shaping the market. You will set the sales strategy, develop a go-to-market approach, and have the chance to step into a Country Manager role, with a clear path to building a high-performing team.

You will be backed by a team of respected technical experts and thought leaders, collaborating with the Dutch headquarters to establish the UK brand and drive long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Market Expansion

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the UK, identifying market opportunities.
  • Drive new business development by acquiring new clients and expanding the market.
  • Build brand authority in the UK through marketing initiatives and industry events.

Client Engagement & Account Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high retention rates.
  • Work closely with pre-sales consultants and subject matter experts to create tailored proposals.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to refine service offerings based on market demand.

Leadership & Team Growth

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales and marketing team.
  • Shape marketing assets, including case studies and client testimonials.
  • Represent the company at industry events, collaborating with thought leaders for knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

  • Proven track record in new business development and go-to-market strategy.
  • Experience in solution sales, particularly in offshore software development services (experience in AI/ML, Nearshoring, Agile, or DevOps transformations is a plus).
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and build a dynamic team.
  • Experience in launching and scaling new brands or services, including event management and brand-building initiatives.

What We Offer

  • A unique opportunity to shape the UK presence of an established global organization.
  • A certified Great Place to Work, with a culture of strong employee retention and continuous improvement.
  • An entrepreneurial environment that supports innovation and leadership.
  • Strong support from a team of technical experts and thought leaders.
  • Remote role offering flexibility while leading UK market expansion.

If you are an ambitious sales leader eager to make an impact and take ownership of a market expansion strategy, we’d love to hear from you!
