Senior QA Engineer – Remote in the EU – Freelance: 6 month contract + extensions/option to go perm

Orbis have been retained by a global cybersecurity business in Eindhoven who require a Senior QA Engineer to join them on a freelance basis.

This is an initial 6-month extendable freelance opportunity (with strong likelihood of extension/opportunity to go permanent). The ultimate goal is define, implement and execute software quality assurance processes and test cases. The necessary background required entails the following:

  • Experience with test automation frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, etc.
  • A background in networking and/or network security.
  • Linux OS is necessary.
  • Ansible or Python or both programming language.
  • Cloud and virtualization technologies, such as Azure, AWS and GCP.

Rates are negotiable depending upon experience, circa 30-40 EUR/hr

You would be required to be onsite for an initial onboarding week and also travel once every 4 – 8 weeks for a few days is (flexible + negotiable).
