Job Title: Backend Python Developer

Location: Remote – 1 day/month onsite in Brussels

Contract Type: Freelance – 6 months + extensions

Rate: 450-500 EUR/day

Start Date: ASAP

Orbis have partnered with a well-funded Brussels-based startup that builds a software platform to help companies manage employee mobility and commuting benefits (such as public transport, mobility budgets, and reimbursements).

You will be working on helping them build a smart EV charging card solution that lets employers control employee usage and spending while seamlessly handling payments and reimbursements through integrations with charge point operators.

They are seeking an experienced Backend Python Engineer to help steer the technical direction of this project.

Technical requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Python, ideally with experience in FastAPI or Django
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
  • Exposure to authentication and authorisation systems (e.g. Auth0) is a plus, but not essential

Details:

  • Rate: circa 500 EUR/day (flex)
  • Location: Remote/Brussels – onsite 1 day/month
  • Start date: Mid May
