We’re looking for a Lead Backend Engineer to join a fast-growing private equity and private credit platform. This is a hands-on role designing and building backend services, APIs, and automation on Azure, supporting production systems used in investment and quantitative workflows.
What you’ll do:
- Build and maintain APIs and backend services in Python and FastAPI
- Develop and improve deployment pipelines, automation, and monitoring
- Support trading and investment systems used by quant and private equity teams
- Take ownership of production systems, ensuring they run smoothly
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience in Python and FastAPI
- Hands-on with Azure cloud services and infrastructure
- Background in investment or quantitative systems
- Comfortable owning and troubleshooting production-grade systems
Ideal for engineers who enjoy building systems end-to-end and working at the intersection of backend engineering and investment technology.
