Project Lead | High Performance Trading Software | Remote

We’re partnering with a market leading software business operating at the cutting edge of high-frequency, low-latency trading systems, used by financial institutions globally.

They’re now looking for a PMO/Project Lead to step into a high-impact role, working across Engineering, Operations, Security, and client delivery.

This isn’t a traditional PM role, you’ll be brought in to:

  • Build and shape a lean PMO from the ground up
  • Lead cross-functional, business critical projects
  • Drive a key initiative: ISO27001 implementation and wider Audits
  • Work directly with engineering teams and senior stakeholders
  • Influence how delivery is run across the entire business

You’ll have access to:

  • Owning a portfolio of projects end-to-end (internal + client-facing)
  • Setting up governance, reporting, and delivery standards
  • Coordinating complex initiatives across multiple teams
  • Leading ISO27001 readiness and audit delivery
  • Driving process improvements and operational efficiency

Experience needed for the opportunity:

  • Strong experience delivering projects in a tech or software environment
  • Background in PMO / portfolio management / governance
  • Comfortable working with engineering teams (Linux / Java / DevOps exposure ideal)
  • Experience with PRINCE2 + Agile delivery frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
  • Exposure to ISO27001 / security / compliance programmes is a big plus
  • Experience in financial services / trading technology would be highly desirable
