Job Title: Platform Engineer

Location: Utrecht (Hybrid – Onsite Monday & Thursday, the rest remote)

Contract Type: 12 month Deta-Vast (Payroll/EoR)

Hourly Rate: 80-100 EUR/hr

Start Date: Asap – Immediately available

Orbis is partnering with a global financial services firm seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their Graph Analytics Team and play a pivotal role in building and evolving their internal Graph platform. The graph database infrastructure currently runs on virtual machines in Azure which they are planning to migrate to Kubernetes in Q1 next year.

The primary responsibility will be around leading a team of 2 onshore engineers and 8 offshore engineers, and articulating a clear technical vision, primarily around the migration of graph databases from Azure to Kubernetes. Additionally, you will be establishing best practices when it comes to monitoring & alerting.

Key skills:

  • Azure
  • Kubernetes (migration planned for Q1)
  • CI/CD best practices – automated deployment and testing
  • Neo4j/graph database (ideal but not necessary)
  • Terraform & Bicep (less critical).
