Loan Administration Associate (12-Month FTC) – Asset Management – London – Hybrid

Our client are looking for a Loan Administration Associate to join our Investment Operations team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This role plays a key part in ensuring loan and guarantee investments are accurately administered, monitored, and recorded throughout their lifecycle.

You will work closely with investment teams, third-party administrators, and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of loan administration activities while supporting ongoing operational improvements.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with loan administration experience and strong attention to detail to contribute to a high-performing investment operations environment.

Key Responsibilities

Loan Administration

  • Administer initial investment transactions, including bank account setup, call-backs to confirm banking details, and instrument creation
  • Monitor and process loan lifecycle events, including interest and principal repayments and associated invoicing
  • Track receipt of periodic reports from investees and produce reporting for Investment Teams on outstanding items
  • Liaise with investees to obtain overdue reporting where required
  • Work with third-party loan administrators to manage rate settings, interest schedules, payments, and accruals
  • Manage the team inbox and support ad-hoc queries, analysis, and reporting

Project Support

  • Support the Loan Administration Team Leader as a subject matter expert on the eFront for Loans project
  • Review facility documentation against existing system records to identify booking issues
  • Perform reconciliations to confirm new system functionality delivers expected outcomes

Candidate Profile

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a loan administration or portfolio administration function
  • Strong knowledge of debt products and their key attributes
  • Highly organised with the ability to track and follow up on outstanding items
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience using loan or portfolio administration systems (ideally eFront)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with Debt Domain
  • IMC or IOC qualification
