Lead Full Stack Engineer – Partner Ecosystem Platform – up to ~225k base + significant equity

New York City (Hybrid)

I’m working with a high-growth fintech infrastructure company that builds a core decisioning and identity platform used by banks and fintechs to manage fraud, compliance, and customer onboarding at scale. The product sits directly in revenue-critical and regulatory workflows, and the engineering team is operating at a high bar as the platform continues to grow in volume and complexity.

They’re hiring a Lead Full Stack Engineer to take technical ownership of a partner ecosystem platform that enables hundreds of third-party data providers to integrate cleanly and reliably into the core product. This is a hands-on lead IC role, focused on system design, platform thinking, and execution rather than people management.

What you’ll be working on

• Designing and building a scalable integration platform used by external data partners
• Owning architecture and delivery of production-critical systems
• Working across the stack using TypeScript/React on the frontend and Python-based backend services
• Partnering closely with product and design to turn ambiguous requirements into robust platform capabilities
• Providing technical leadership through code quality, design decisions, and mentorship

What they’re looking for

• Strong senior-to-lead level full stack engineering experience in production environments
• Meaningful experience integrating external APIs, data providers, or partner systems
• Solid system design and architectural judgement
• Comfort owning complex problems end to end
• Strong experience with relational databases (e.g. Postgres)

Nice to have

• Experience building developer platforms, SDKs, or integration tooling
• Exposure to fintech or regulated environments

• Compensation: Up to ~225k base plus equity
