IAM Engineer | Contract | Remote (Netherlands)

Duration: 12-month contract (extendable)

Rate: €80 – €100 per hour (negotiable)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IAM Engineer to support the design, configuration, and operation of Access Management (AM) environments for a leading consulting firm. This fully remote freelance role is based in the Netherlands, with occasional travel to client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and configure IAM Access Management environments.
• Operate and maintain IAM solutions, ensuring security and compliance.
• Migrate applications, manage authentication/authorization processes.
• Implement IAM best practices and policy frameworks.

Key Requirements

• Strong expertise in IAM & Access Management tooling – experience with IBM Access Manager preferred (or Ping Identity/Okta).
• Experience in designing, configuring, and operating IAM AM environments.
• Background in application migrations, authentication, and authorization.
• In-depth understanding of security best practices and IAM policy frameworks.
