A fast-growing start-up at the intersection of advertising, data, and hardware is seeking a Founding Engineer / Tech Lead to take full ownership of its core technology stack.

With active deployments across major U.S. venues—including NFL and MLB stadiums—the business operates a nationwide network of portable charging stations that function both as utility infrastructure and dynamic advertising platforms. Backed by seasoned advisers in AdTech and media, the company is raising capital to scale further.

About the Role
This is a hands-on, high-impact role reporting directly to the CEO. You will design and build proprietary software from scratch, including a self-serve dashboard for advertisers and a behavioural data insights platform. You will also help set the tone for the company’s product and engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop full-stack applications (frontend and backend) from the ground up

• Build a self-service advertiser portal for campaign management and performance tracking

• Design data infrastructure to capture and analyse user interaction across thousands of devices

• Integrate software with hardware using QR-based and embedded technologies

• Set engineering standards and collaborate on the product roadmap with the executive team

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience

• Demonstrated ability to deliver production-ready software in start-up or fast-paced environments

• Experience in AdTech, CMS platforms, or data-driven web tools

• A strong understanding of data pipelines and client-facing insights

• Bonus: Exposure to IoT, embedded systems, or QR-integrated software products
