Forward Deployed Engineer — Engineering AGI
Remote — US or Canada
Salary: ~$200K base + very significant early-stage equity
About the Company
We’re partnered with a seed-stage AI company building one of the most ambitious applications of artificial intelligence today: an engineering AGI designed to solve real-world physical engineering problems.
Their core product acts as an AI engineer embedded inside technical teams – capable of understanding engineering documentation, designing systems, running simulations, integrating with engineering tools, and producing build-ready outputs.
This is not an LLM wrapper or productivity layer. The focus is applied AI that participates directly in engineering workflows across industries like data center infrastructure, automotive systems, and industrial engineering.
The Role
Forward Deployed Engineers own the technical delivery of customer deployments – bridging cutting-edge AI capabilities with real-world engineering environments.
You’ll work directly with customers to understand complex problems, design integrations, deploy production systems, and help shape how engineering AGI evolves in practice. This is a high-ownership role with strong influence on both customer outcomes and core product development.
