Deployment Strategist

Location flexible (preferred hubs: DC area, Austin, London, Eastern Europe/Scandinavia) | Salary ~$200,000–$220,000 Base + Bonus + Equity

About the Company

This unicorn AI company recently raised $100M at a ~$1.2B valuation to scale agentic AI into the enterprise. Their platform moves organisations beyond flashy prototypes into secure, explainable, production-ready systems that power critical workflows.

With over 30 customers and 100,000+ end users already, they’re on track for breakeven within 12 months, and building a team to define how entire industries adopt AI responsibly and at scale.

The Role

They’re hiring Deployment Strategists to work directly with customers and drive AI adoption end-to-end. You’ll uncover the core problems clients face, design and operationalise solutions with Forward Deployed Engineers, and make sure those solutions translate into measurable impact.

This is a field role: you’ll be in front of users, analysts, and execs, turning business needs into AI deployments, running training, and helping shape product direction through your insights.

What You’ll Do

  • Work on-site with customers to map their biggest challenges
  • Turn PoCs and demos into production-ready deployments
  • Identify and interpret the right datasets for AI solutions
  • Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers on pipelines and integrations
  • Deliver training sessions and ensure adoption by end users
  • Present outcomes and proposals to both technical and executive audiences
  • Feed field insights back into engineering and product teams
  • Explore new industries and opportunities for impact

You Might Be a Fit If You…

  • Thrive in ambiguous, unstructured problem spaces
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bring humility and focus on outcomes over personal credit
  • Are adaptable, able to learn, mentor, lead, or follow as needed
  • Have experience with Python, R, SQL, or similar tools for data analysis
  • Are familiar with Docker/Kubernetes environments
  • Enjoy working directly with customers and building trust across levels
  • Are open to travel as needed for client work (typically regular but not constant)

Why Join

  • Join a unicorn shaping how enterprises adopt AI
  • High-impact, client-facing role with real-world outcomes
  • Strong comp: base, bonus, and equity
  • Work with a mission-driven, multidisciplinary team (engineering, design, strategy)
  • Direct influence on product direction and industry-wide AI adoption
