Debt Advisory Associate Director – Corporate Finance (Advisory)

About the Role

A leading corporate finance advisory firm is seeking a Debt Advisory Associate Director to join their London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong debt advisory experience and a background in financial services transactions to play a key role in delivering strategic financing solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute debt advisory transactions, including refinancing, structured finance, and capital raising.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships with corporates, private equity firms, and financial institutions.
  • Build and analyze financial models to assess financing structures and recommend optimal solutions.
  • Advise clients on debt structuring, credit risk assessment, and funding strategies.
  • Manage deal execution, including negotiation with lenders and investors.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and contributing to firm growth.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in debt advisory, ideally within corporate finance, investment banking, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of financial transactions, including leveraged finance, capital markets, and restructuring.
  • Advanced financial modelling skills and ability to analyze complex financial structures.
  • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or CFA preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model (office and remote working balance).
