Capital Markets Financial Data Analyst | Contract | London | Hybrid

I’m currently supporting a fast-growing financing business that is scaling its Capital Markets Operations function.

They are looking for a hands-on Financial Data Analyst / Reporting Consultant to support the operational running and setup of their funding and securitisation facilities. This role sits at the heart of their funding operations and will focus on working with complex financial datasets, improving reporting processes, and supporting investor reporting and audit activities.

This is a highly hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with data, solving problems, and operating in fast-paced financial environments.

💡 The Role

• Prepare and review investor and funding reports
• Perform deep-dive analysis and reconciliation across complex financial datasets
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and reporting issues
• Support audit processes and provide reporting to auditors and stakeholders
• Help improve and automate manual reporting processes
• Support the operational setup of new funding facilities

✅ Key experience required

• Strong Financial Data Analyst / Reporting Analyst / Consultant background
• Experience working with complex datasets within financial services, banking, fintech, or consulting
• Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capability
• Excellent analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Experience working with financial data, reporting, or reconciliation processes
• SQL experience highly desirable

Location: London (Hybrid)

Start: ASAP

Duration: 6 months initially

Rate: Flexible within IR35
