They have raised over $20m in funding so far, with the most recent round being Series A.
Their product has reached more than 100,000 people.
They launched publicly on the App Store in 2023.
The two co-founders are very passionate and knowledgeable about the space they are in, and they are trying (and so far succeeding) in making a real impact.
About the Android Engineer Vacancy:
They are looking for an experienced and creative Android Engineer to lead the development of their Android app.
As one of their first Android hires, you will set the technical foundation for the platform while shaping the user experience.
This is a rare opportunity to work on a craft-first product in a greenfield codebase and help define the future.
You Will:
• Design, develop, and maintain new and existing Android features
• Partner with design, product, and iOS engineers to create delightful, performant user experiences
• Ensure smooth performance, responsiveness, and high quality across devices
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and edge cases
• Establish and uphold strong engineering processes—maintaining clean architecture, test coverage, and scalable code
Ideal Requirements for the Android Engineer Vacancy:
• Several years of professional Android development experience
• Deep expertise in Kotlin and Android frameworks
• Proven experience integrating Android apps with backend services
• Strong understanding of design patterns, architecture, and the mobile development lifecycle
• Prior experience in start-ups or small engineering teams
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and comfort with ambiguity
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A passion for building high-quality, well-crafted software
Nice-to-Have:
• Familiarity with Cloud Messaging APIs and push notifications
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and Material Design
• Experience with performance and memory optimization
• An outsized love for music and creative tools
