AI Engineer / Analyst

High-impact role shaping real AI adoption (London, £160k + bonus)

Working with a well-backed investment firm in London hiring an AI-focused Engineer / Analyst to sit close to the business and drive how AI is actually used day-to-day.

This isn’t a pure engineering role and it’s not ML research. It’s about identifying where AI adds value, building it, and getting it into production where people actually use it.

What you’ll be doing

  • Identify and shape AI use cases across the business
  • Work directly with stakeholders to understand workflows and inefficiencies
  • Build POCs / prototypes and support production rollout
  • Drive adoption of AI tools across teams
  • Train end users and help embed AI into how people work

What they’re looking for

  • 6–8 years’ experience across engineering, product, or technical BA-type roles
  • 2–3 years working with AI / LLM / agentic tooling in a practical setting
  • Strong communication skills, able to work closely with non-technical users
  • Experience delivering solutions end-to-end, not just contributing in a silo
  • Financial services exposure (buy-side not required)

Tech-wise they’re a Microsoft .NET / C# environment, but the stack isn’t the focus here. Python backgrounds are equally relevant.

Why it’s interesting

  • High visibility role with direct impact on how the business evolves
  • Blend of technical work and real business problem solving
  • Opportunity to shape AI strategy rather than just execute tickets
  • Still hands-on, but with ownership from idea through to adoption

Package

  • Base up to £160k
  • Bonus 30%+
  • London based, 5 days in office
