Job Title: Senior / Lead Golang Engineer

Location: London (Hybrid – 2-3 days in the office)

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to £120,000 per annum

Overview:

A leading technology company in London is seeking a Senior or Lead Golang Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-performance, scalable systems within a forward-thinking, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain high-throughput, reliable systems
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Go code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in building scalable and reliable backend systems
  • Strong proficiency in Golang
  • Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis is highly desirable
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment
