Senior Test Manager – Remote (Preferred Locations: Chicago, IL or Jacksonville, FL)
Our client is seeking a Senior Test Manager to build and lead a new testing service within their Capital Markets division, transitioning from an offshore setup to a comprehensive in-house solution.
In this role, you’ll design and implement testing strategies for key clients, manage both manual and automated testing efforts, and oversee test automation. You’ll collaborate with clients and implementation teams, manage daily testing operations, ensure quality assurance, and deliver detailed reports across multiple high-impact projects.
Job Summary
As a Senior Test Manager, you’ll play a critical role in developing fintech products that are transforming the way the world pays, banks, and invests. This includes providing end-to-end (E2E) Testing Strategy for medium to large implementation projects within the Capital Markets division.
You’ll develop testing strategies, plans, estimates, and schedules to support projects and product releases, ensuring coordination of testing efforts with clients and project teams. Additionally, you will lead the execution of various testing phases for implementation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Master Test Strategies and Independent Test Strategies for each phase of testing.
- Build comprehensive E2E Test Strategies for large-scale implementation projects.
- Lead and support client and implementation teams throughout the testing process.
- Direct Test Automation teams to implement a cohesive and effective automation approach.
- Clearly communicate testing activities, results, and insights in both oral and written forms.
- Manage daily test activities and provide internal quality assurance.
- Support and guide testing teams to ensure the highest quality standards.
- Provide comprehensive stakeholder reporting across multiple projects.
