We’re working closely with one of our long standing financial services clients to support with a hiring a Python Engineering Manager in London. This is a ‘player manager’ role where you’ll be supporting with both hands on/off responsibilities.

Duties/responsibilities

  • Lead a small team of developers, acting as a technical mentor and being an advocate for full SDLC (follow best engineering practises, hold code reviews, introduce new tools and processes, system/architecture design)
  • Support with project management Inc. sprint planning, progression and updates on projects, overseeing costs)
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the division to find solutions to complex business-critical problems

Techstack

  • Python, C#, SQL, R, Docker/K8s

Interview Process

  • 1-2 stages, 1 week turnaround.

Day rate

  • Up to £950 P/D (Inside IR35), initial 6 month contract
