About the Role:

As a Principal Frontend Developer, you will lead the development of scalable, high-performance mobile applications using React Native across both iOS and Android platforms. You’ll guide technical decisions, mentor a talented team, and ensure the app continues to offer a seamless user experience as the platform scales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and optimisation of React Native applications.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to align technical solutions with user needs.
  • Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive best practices and make scalable architecture decisions.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 8-10+ years of mobile development experience with a strong focus on React Native.
  • Proven ability to scale applications for millions of users.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile performance optimisation and debugging tools.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding technical teams.
  • Proficiency in state management (Redux, MobX) and API integrations.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience building internal tools that enhance development efficiency.
  • An interest in exploring new trends in mobile development.
  • Understanding of trust and safety principles in user-centric products.
